1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using 1slap ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

1slap is a swipe-based startup idea validation platform that allows founders to upload pitch videos and receive feedback from users through a swipe mechanism (Slap/Flop). The Platform facilitates:

• Video pitch uploads by founders
• Swipe-based feedback from users
• Intent capture (buying interest, collaboration, notifications)
• Analytics and performance dashboards for founders
• Short URL sharing for idea pitches

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By using 1slap, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Anonymous Usage

Users may browse and swipe on ideas anonymously. However, certain features require account creation.

4.2 Account Registration

To upload pitches or access advanced features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

5. Founder Responsibilities

5.1 Pitch Content

As a founder uploading content, you agree that:

• You own or have the rights to all content you upload
• Your pitch does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Your pitch complies with all applicable laws and regulations

5.2 Prohibited Content

Pitches may not contain:

• Illegal products, services, or activities
• Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
• Sexually explicit or violent material
• Pyramid schemes, MLMs, or fraudulent business models
• Malware, phishing attempts, or security threats

5.3 Moderation

All pitches are subject to manual review and moderation. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any content that violates these terms.

6. Pricing and Payments

6.1 Pricing Structure

• First Pitch: Free for 30 days
• Subscription: $2.99/month after the trial period to keep your idea live
• Additional Pitches: $10 per pitch

6.2 Billing

By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

6.3 Refund Policy

Payments are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for billing errors or technical issues preventing service access.

6.4 Non-Payment

If payment fails after the trial period, your pitch may be hidden from public view, though the short URL will remain accessible with limited functionality.

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform
• Create fake accounts or engage in vote manipulation
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access controls
• Reverse engineer or extract data from the Platform
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Platform Content

All Platform design, code, logos, and original content are owned by 1slap and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 User Content

You retain ownership of your uploaded content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Host, display, and distribute your pitch videos
• Use your content for Platform promotion and marketing
• Create derivative works for analytics and moderation purposes

This license continues until you delete your content or close your account.

8.3 Feedback and Ideas

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Platform become our property and may be used without compensation or attribution.

9. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your data as described in that document.

9.1 Email Masking

We mask user emails when displaying intent data to founders. Direct contact information is never shared without explicit consent.

10. Analytics and Tracking

We use analytics tools to track user behavior, swipe patterns, and engagement metrics. This data is used to improve the Platform and provide insights to founders.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including:

• Cloudflare (video streaming, CDN, security)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Supabase (data storage and authentication)
• PostHog (analytics)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

12. Disclaimers

12.1 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that using the Platform will result in successful fundraising, customer acquisition, or business validation.

12.2 User-Generated Content

We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or legality of user-uploaded content. Pitches represent the views of individual founders, not 1slap.

12.3 Service Availability

We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or external factors.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1slap, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your uploaded content
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for violations of these terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Platform ceases
• We may delete your account and content
• Provisions regarding liability, indemnification, and disputes survive termination

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

17. Dispute Resolution

17.1 Governing Law
